Design Inspiration in D.C.

I was recently in Washington, D.C., and was lucky enough to set aside some time to check out many of the Smithsonian Museums for the first time.

There were two sculptures in the Hirshhorn Museum & Sculpture Garden that were very inspiring examples of abstract sculpture with a "comic" feel to them, and I'm sure many of you will enjoy these just as much.

Enjoy!

David Smith - Pittsburgh Landscape, 1954

Louise Nevelson - Black Wall, 1964
